The German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) has issued a new version of the general building inspectorate approval for our HEICO-LOCK® HLK Washers. This update brings with it some exciting improvements:

  • Inclusion of HR connections with k-class K2: Our portfolio has now expanded to include HR connections with k-class K2 to allow even more flexibility and adaptability in construction projects.
  • Tables for clamping length changes, minimum tightening torque figures and tightening parameters: To assist you in the precise installation and use of our products, detailed tables for clamping length change, minimum tightening torque figures and tightening parameters have been added or supplemented.
  • Increasing the layer thickness in the contact area to 300µm: By increasing the possible layer thickness in the contact area, our HLK-Washers can now also be used in a wider range of applications, where they continue to offer the usual performance and safety.
  • Maintenance-free locking function according to EAD 331565-00-060210 section 2.2.3: Our HEICO-LOCK® HLK-Washers are now maintenance-free in terms of locking action according to the guidelines of the European Assessment Document (EAD), which ensures long-term and reliable performance.
